India has prepared to compete with the developed countries of the world including China, America. The government is making desi AI model under India AI Mission. This AI model will also be affordable with Chinese Deepsek AI. PM Modi has given this information at the AI Action Summit held in Paris, the capital of France. PM Modi spoke of India’s AI vision at this summit and advocated it to regulate it along with its positive effects. Recently, the Chinese AI model Deepsek R1 has been very much discussed. This AI model has presented a big challenge for models like Chatgpt, Google Gemini.
Swadeshi AI model
PM Modi, referring to India’s India AI Mission at ‘AI Mahakumbh’ held in Paris, said, ‘India is preparing its own large language model (LLM). We have a Unique Public Private Partnership Model, which provides resources for public on affordable costs. India wants to tell the world that the future of AI is good and for everyone.
Referring to the positive use of AI in India, he said that the AI app in India is developing to serve the public. Several steps have also been taken regarding AI’s data privacy in India. We have the world’s largest AI talent.
Will be launched in next 10 months
The indigenous AI model will be launched in the next few months under India AI Mission. Recently, Union IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnav also said that India is making its own large language model (LLM). For this, facility preparations for 18 thousand high-end GPU (graphics processing unit) have been made in the country.
Referring to the launched Deepseek R1 AI in China, he said that this model has been trained at 2,000 GPUs, while Chatgpt has been trained at 25 thousand GPU. More than 18 thousand GPU of India is preparing for its AI mission. This indigenous AI model will be prepared in the next 10 months.
