Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath have also posted on National Technology Day 2025. Let us tell you that on this day i.e. May 11, 1998, India had successfully sarcasted a successful nuclear in Pokhran, Rajasthan. This major achievement was possible due to the strong decision of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and former President APJ Abdul Kalam. To remember this major achievement and successful nuclear test of India, it was decided to celebrate today as National Technology Day.
A major objective behind celebrating National Technology Day is to honor India’s achievements in the sector of technology. Along with this, people have to make people aware of science and technology. The Ministry of Science and Technology Development Board (TDB) for today chooses a new theme every year. The type of theme is such that reflects the priority and objectives of our country. The theme for National Technology Day 2025 is Yantra – Yugantar for Advanceing New Technology, Research & Acceleration.
Various programs and seminars are organized at schools, colleges and different places for National Technology Day. Through these programs, students and youth of school college are informed about the progress made in the field of technology and future proofs.
