Earthquake tremors were felt in this part of the country on Saturday. Earthquake shocks came in the high areas of North Kasargod district of Kerala in the early hours of Saturday. However, it is being told that mild tremors of earthquakes have been felt. The police has given this information and said that there is no news of any damage. Vellarikund police quoted the villagers as saying that shocks were felt for a few seconds in Malom, Rajpuram, Konnakkad and surrounding areas and people left home and started running out.
