Mahila samman saving certificate: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has not made any announcement in the budget to further the Women’s Honor Saving Certificate (MSSC) scheme. Now it has been decided that the last day of investing in women’s honor certificate is 31 March 2025. Women who have not yet invested in this scheme have only time till March 2025.
Government started a scheme for women
The MSSC scheme The Government of India launched the scheme for women and girls under small saving. The plan was started on 31 March 2023. The scheme was implemented for a two -year period on the occasion of the Amrit Mahotsav of independence. The scheme was introduced to make women financially stronger and give financial freedom. The biggest feature of this scheme is that it pays an annual interest of 7.5%. It was more than 2 years of FD being given in banks.
You can invest so much money
Under this scheme, any woman or girl can invest money ranging from Rs 1,000 to Rs 2,00,000. These accounts can be easily opened in post office and register banks. Those investing in MSSC get the entire origin and interest back after 2 years of maturity. The special thing is that after completion of 1 year, account holders can withdraw up to 40% of their deposits. This is an excellent option for women who are watching options with safe and more returns.
Women’s honor scheme rules
If for some reason the account holder needs money in the middle, then in some special circumstances the account can be closed before the time. If the account holder dies, an account can be closed during a serious medical emergency. However, even after the completion of 6 months of opening the account, if an account wants to close, the interest rate can be cut.
You can invest till 31 March 2025
The government has not announced to carry forward the MSSC scheme. In such a situation, it is very important to invest before 31 March 2025. This is the last chance to take advantage of an attractive interest rate of 7.5%. Women who have not yet invested in this scheme, should go to their nearest post office or bank as soon as possible and opened the account.
