Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
New Delhi: After a ceasefire on the border with Pakistan, there will be a meeting of the Cabinet and Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) for the first time on Wednesday. The cabinet meeting will be held at 11 am, and after that the CCS will meet. Let us know that after the Pahalgam attack, there have been 2 meetings of CCS before this. It is believed that in the meetings today, the strategy after ‘Operation Sindoor’, investigation into the Pahalgam terror attack and the situation after ceasefire may be discussed.
A big decision can be taken in CCS meeting
All cabinet ministers will be attended by the cabinet meeting, while the CCS meeting will participate in the meeting of the CCS along with the Defense Minister, Home Minister, Finance Minister and National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval. According to sources, a major decision can be taken in the meeting based on the report of the Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of External Affairs on the basis of intelligence inputs.
Third meeting of CCS after Pahalgam attack
Let us know that after the brutal terrorist attack in Pahalgam, CCS has already held a meeting twice. In the first meeting held on 23 April, it was decided to take strict action against the culprits of the attack. This was followed by a second meeting on April 30 at the PM residence, in which the security situation of Jammu and Kashmir was reviewed and the army was given an open exemption for action against the terrorists. As a result, the three armies together started ‘Operation Sindoor’ and taught a lesson to Pakistan as well as Pakistan.
The situation after ceasefire can be discussed
Today’s CCS meeting may consider the strategy after ‘Operation Sindoor’, the progress of the investigation of the Pahalgam attack and the next warning or retaliation given to Pakistan. It is also believed that after the ceasefire, there will be a thorough discussion on the changed situation and security challenges on the border. After the Pahalgam attack, the Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) and the three army chiefs also attended the previous CCS meetings. In today’s meeting, important decisions related to security can be taken. This meeting is considered very important in view of tension on the India-Pakistan border and the current situation of Jammu and Kashmir.
