ICC Pitch Rating: The test series played between India vs Australia has ended. The Australian team has won this series by a margin of 3-1. Even after winning the first match of this series, Team India was seen lagging behind in the next four matches. However, the matches played during the series were quite exciting. The first match of the series was played in Perth, the second match in Adelaide Oval, the third match in Gabba, the fourth match in Melbourne and the fifth match in Sydney. Out of these five venues, four venues have been given the same rating. Only one venue has the lowest rating. Let us tell you that the pitch of the first four matches has been given a 5 star rating by the ICC. Which means that the pitches of Perth, Adelaide, Gabba and Melbourne were given very good ratings. The pitch of the match played in Sydney has got three stars i.e. satisfactory rating. Which is the second best rating of ICC.

Talking about ICC’s rating system, in the year 2023 ICC had made total changes in its rating system. Earlier, rating was given in 6 levels, but now it has been reduced to four. Which includes very good, satisfactory, unsatisfactory and unfit (not worth playing). The last Test match played in Sydney ended in the shortest time. This match lasted only for 2.5 days. During this match, 15 wickets also fell in a single day. This explains why the rating points of this venue have been deducted.
