There has been a huge jump of 471 percent in the company’s standalone net profit in the October-December quarter. The company recorded a profit of Rs 3023 crore during the quarter. The company had earned a net profit of Rs 529 crore in the same period last year. The reason for this jump in profits is better margins and weak base. Today the company’s shares have fallen by 2.3 percent and the stock closed at Rs 361.45 per share on BSE.
