Upi auto pay: UPI, which makes digital payment easier, has become smarter now. Do you also forget to cancel or delete autope? NPCI i.e. National Payments Corporation of India launched UPI Autopay feature prevents you from recurring payments like electricity bill, Netflix subscription, EMI or insurance premium every month. Through this, you can approve the automatic payment by approving once, which is automatically cut on time.
What is UPI Autopay?
UPI Autopay is a feature in which you set e-mandate online permission. After this, the payment automatically gets deducted from your bank account. You can use this service on any UPI app like PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm, BHIM. This service works at intervals every day, weeks, month or any time.

You can use it on subscription payment on OTT platforms like Netflix, Hotstar.
Mobile or electricity bill
Loan EMI or Insurance Premium

How to cancel Autopay Mandate?
If you want to close an autopement, you can cancel it very easily.
Open your UPI app (eg PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm).
Go to mandates or autopay section in UPI settings
See active mendets. Click on the one who has to be closed.
Press the Revoke or Cancel button. That payment will stop immediately
Can UPi Autopay payment be reverse?
No, once the Autopay payment is cut, it cannot be returned like a normal UPI transaction. If there is a mistake or the wrong trader is paid, then you will have to contact the same traders directly and ask for a refund or file a complaint in your UPI app or bank. Therefore, it is important that you keep checking your autopay mandates from time to time, and cancel those who are not needed.
