Hospice: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu visited the Government Girls Senior Secondary School at Dharamshala, Kangra on Friday and announced one thousand rupees to all 351 girls enrolled in the school. While congratulating the students, he expressed his resolve to improve the education system in the state. He shared his personal experience of studies in government schools and accepted the lack of confidence in the students of these schools.

Government is focusing on increasing the quality of education

Sukhu assured that the state government is taking decisive steps to create confidence in these children and said that this would help them become responsible and capable citizens. He also emphasized that no student will be deprived of education and the government is focusing on increasing the quality of education. He also visited the Government Senior Secondary School (Bal) in Dharamshala and reviewed the facilities being provided to the students.

50 meritorious students will be sent abroad soon

Education Minister Rohit Thakur said that the state government has filled hundreds of vacant teaching posts and has promoted the deputy directors. He said that ‘exposure visits’ have also been sent to the students and teachers to encourage and motivate children. He also informed that 50 meritorious students will be sent abroad soon.
