HDFC Bank Alert: India’s largest private sector bank HDFC has issued an alert for its customers. Actually, many HDFC Bank services will not be available to customers for two days. According to the bank, due to maintenance, banking services will be temporarily closed on January 24 and 25. This step will help in providing better banking experience to customers. Even before this, HDFC Bank had closed some services due to maintenance on January 17 and 18.
24-25 January: ChatBanking, SMS Banking and PhoneBanking IVR
HDFC Bank has announced to work on ChatBanking, SMS Banking and PhoneBanking IVR services from 10:00 PM on January 24 to 2:00 AM on January 25 (total 16 hours). During this period, all these services will not be available to the customers.
25th January:UPI service will not be available
Maintenance will be done on UPI service on Friday.
25th January: 12:00 AM to 3:00 AM (3 hours).
During this period, UPI transactions on HDFC Bank’s current and savings accounts, RuPay Credit Card, HDFC Mobile Banking App and UPI services on TPAPs (third party apps) will remain closed. Merchant UPI transactions will also be affected.
Bank alerted customers
HDFC Bank has sent this update to customers through registered email address. The bank has requested its customers to use other options during these dates and times. HDFC Bank says that this necessary maintenance is being done to further improve their service. However, customers have been advised to make their financial planning keeping these dates in mind. Even before this, on January 17, some customers did not get any service. Then customers faced problems in forex card reloading through Forex prepaid card service, prepaid card netbanking and instant reload portal.
