HCL Tech December Quarter Result: IT company HCL Tech has released its financial results for the October-December 2024 quarter. The company’s consolidated net profit during the quarter increased by 5.58 percent year-on-year to Rs 4,594 crore. A year ago it was Rs 4,351 crore. The company said in its filing to the stock market on Saturday that its consolidated revenue from operations during the December quarter increased by 5 percent to Rs 29,890 crore compared to a year ago. It was Rs 28,446 crore in the December 2023 quarter.
The company’s total expenses in the December 2024 quarter stood at Rs 24,235 crore. A year ago it was worth Rs 22,942 crore. HCL Tech shares closed at Rs 1985.25 on BSE on January 13. The market cap of the company is Rs 5.38 lakh crore.
Special dividend also included in interim dividend
The board of HCL Tech has declared a fourth interim dividend of Rs 18 per share for the financial year 2024-25, it said in a stock exchange filing. This also includes a special dividend of Rs 6 as a celebration of the company completing 25 years of listing in the stock market. The record date for determining the eligibility of shareholders for the interim dividend is January 17, 2025. Dividend will be paid from January 24. The face value of the company’s shares is Rs 2.
The stock has strengthened by 28 percent in one year. Promoters held 60.81 percent stake in the company by the end of September 2024. The stock had seen a 52-week high of Rs 2,011 on January 13, 2025 on BSE. 52 week low of Rs 1,235 seen on June 4, 2024.
