
Google did not get relief
Google has suffered a major setback once again. Tech company has been accused of dominating the ad-tech market using monopoly. The Judge of the Washington Court of America has accepted the charge on Google as correct. The tech company has been sued by several American State, including Federal Government, for violating the rules of the anti -Trust. Alphabet’s company has been accused of monopolizing all three sector-publisher ads servers, Advertisor tools and Ed Exchange of Digital Advertising.
Serious allegations on Google
One of the two federal cases on Google is, which can eventually divide the company and curb its impact. It is part of a comprehensive government effort to curb this big tech. The District Court Judge Leone Binkema said on the allegation on Google- the plaintiff alleges that most of the websites use a trio of Google advertising software products, which together leave no way to avoid Google’s advertising technology for publishers.
The judge further said that Google is deliberately engaged in a series of intentional anti-competition acts to gain and maintain monopoly power in publishers advertising servers and advertising exchange markets for open-week display advertisements. Google further strengthened its monopoly power by applying anti-competition policies on its customers and eliminating desirable product features.
Fine has been imposed in many countries
However, Google can appeal to the US Supreme Court against this order of the District Court. Earlier, Google has been accused against violation of anti-trust rules in many countries, due to which the company has been fined heavy. Google uses its services such as Gmail, Maps and Search for online advertising. All these services are made available to users for free.
