Google Android smartphone
Google is rolling out a new security feature for crores of Android users. Through this feature, the risk of data theft from users’ phones will be reduced. Google has designed this feature to prevent unauthorized access to the device. Along with the smartphone, this feature is also being rolled out for Android tablets.
This feature of Google Endoid is similar to the incitability reboot feature of Apple iOS. If the phone is not unlocked for three days, the device will automatically reboot. Google has rolled out this feature with the latest Google Play service version V25.14 update. Google had been testing this feature for a long time. When the device is inactive for 72 hours, this feature will turn off the phone and turn it off again.
Because of this added feature
Google has added this feature to stop the theft of data inadvertently from the phone of Android users. There have been many such cases in which hackers send viruses hidden in users ‘phones, which keep stealing data from users’ phones. Due to the phone being turned on, cyber criminals keep mining data from the user’s device or keep tracking the user. After the arrival of this feature, the user’s device will automatically be switched off after 72 hours and will be switched on again. Due to the restart of the device, connectivity will end and data mining and tracking will stop.
Apart from this, if a phone is switched off, then the biometric feature of the phone does not work after being turned on. In such a situation, the device cannot be turned on again without a pin or password. After the arrival of this feature, the device will be encrypted and will be biometric disabled. After this, until the user will enter the password passcode in the phone. The phone cannot be accessed.
Google has described the feature of the phone again as the Bafor First Unlock (BFU) State. In this, no one will get access to the user’s device, until the password can be recorded. According to information received from Google’s Change Log, this feature is currently being rolled out for the phone. Soon, this feature will also be released for tablets.
