Google and Artificial Intelligence Startup ‘Character. AI’ will be tried in the case of suicide of a 14 -year -old boy. In February 2024, a boy named Sewell Setzer committed suicide after talking to AI Powered Chatbot.

How to reach Sevel Suicide?
- Sewal began using character. AI in April 2023 shortly after his 14th birthday. After a conversation with several AI chatbott, Sewell met a chatbot called ‘Danneries’ (Danny or Danero), who is the character of the Game of Thrones.

- Due to the falling performance in school, Sevel’s mother took her phone in her possession. On 28 February 2024, when Sewell got the phone back, he messaged Danneries (Chatbot), ‘Can I come to your house? Chatbot replied, “Please come, my dear king.” A few seconds later, Sewell shot himself with his stepfather’s pistol.
- Earlier, Bot was shown discussing the suicide with Sevel in the chat. In which he asked if he had any plan that talked about death without pain.

While hearing the case, District Judge Anne Conway allowed the two companies to prosecute. On the court’s decision, Garcia (Boy’s mother) counsel Meetali Jain said that the court’s decision to prosecute companies is historic.
