It was decided to suspend the IPL 2025 season for a week on May 10, due to increasing tension on the border between India and Pakistan. After the ceasefire on May 12, a new schedule was also announced by the IPL Governing Council, in which the remaining matches will now be played from 17 May to 3 June. Meanwhile, this suspension proved to be very beneficial for the RCB team, who got to see a great performance this season, in which their captain Rajat Patidar, who suffered a finger injury during the match against Chennai Super Kings, is now almost completely fit and can be seen playing against KKR.
Patidar could first do 2 to three matches
RCB team is playing under the captaincy of Rajat Patidar in IPL 2025, in which they have played 11 matches so far and out of which they have won 8 matches. At the same time, in the match against CSK on May 3, the silver Patidar was sitting in the finger of his right hand, due to which he was told about 10 days to fit completely and in such a situation, the Patidar was considered to be out of 2 to three matches. However, due to the sudden suspension of IPL for a week, Patidar also got time to fit perfectly. Now Patidar is fully prepared to play in the match against Kolkata Knight Riders on 17 May, in which he has also started practicing batting in the nets.
Patidar did not see the problem while batting in the nets
The RCB team started practicing at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium from May 15 for the match against KKR. According to the news of ESPN Cricinfo, Rajat Patidar batted at the nets on May 15 for about 30 minutes in which he did not appear in any kind of trouble. However, the Patidar did not participate during fielding practice. Patidar has so far scored a total of 239 runs batting in 10 innings this season.
