Mustafizur Rahman will not be available for playoffs
After the end of Mustafizur League stage, he will go back to national duty. This means that he will not be available for playoff matches. If the Delhi team manages to make it to the top-4, then there can be a shortage of experienced bowlers like Mustafizur. The Bangladesh Board has confirmed that it will be available for Bangladesh’s first T20 match against UAE in Sharjah before going to India. Now it will be seen whether he descends to play in that match when he joins Delhi Capitals on 18 May.
The Delhi team has suffered a major setback before the IPL resumes. Mitchell Starc has decided that he will not play in the remaining matches of IPL 2025. Apart from him, Donovan Farera, who played a game in this season, will not return. In such a situation, the joining of Mustafizur will give a big relief to the Delhi team.
