The increase will be applicable from July

According to the information released by the Chief Minister’s Office, this increase will be considered effective from July 1. It will be paid in November 2025 along with the salary for the month of October. This decision will be applicable not only to the state government employees but also to the employees and pensioners of local bodies, public undertakings and institutions financed by the state government. With this decision of the government, there will be a good increase in the salary of the government employees of Uttarakhand, which will strengthen their pockets during the festive season.

Many states increased DA, happiness increased during festivals

Not only Uttarakhand, other states have also given relief to their employees before Diwali. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on October 17 announced to increase the dearness allowance of state employees from 55% to 58%. At the same time, Odisha government has also increased DA by 3% from 55% to 58%. Karnataka government increased dearness allowance of its employees by 2% to 14.25%. Apart from this, states like Gujarat, Bihar, Jharkhand, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh have also announced increase in dearness allowance for their employees.
