PM Awas Yojana: The Central Government started the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in the year 2015 to have its own roof on the heads of every poor of the country. The benefit of this scheme, which has been running for the last 10 years, has not reached many needy people. At the same time, the survey has started once again regarding the Prime Minister’s residence. In this episode, survey is being done in Bihar regarding PM Awas Yojana.
Please tell that a meeting was held on Sunday in Hasanpura Block Headquarters Auditorium of Siwan regarding the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana (PMAY) under the chairmanship of BDO Anand Prakash Singh. Housing Assistant, Vikas Mitra and PRS participated in this meeting. The main objective of the meeting was to review the ongoing works under the scheme and plan up the upcoming survey campaign. The BDO instructed all the concerned authorities to expedite the survey work, especially to give priority to SC and ST beneficiaries.
Apart from this, it was also decided to run a special campaign from 18 February to 28 February, in which special attention will be given on survey of SC/ST beneficiaries. In this meeting, survey data related to various panchayats of the block was also shared, so that the status of the works could be correctly analyzed.
Survey is being done regarding the scheme
BDO said that the survey work is going on fast under the PM Rural Housing Scheme. The survey will be completed by 31 March. Especially from 18 February to 28 February, a special campaign of 10 days will be run, in which priority will be given to SC and ST class people. All housing assistants and PRS have been instructed to complete this work quickly and correctly.
It was informed in the meeting that Vikas Mitra will identify SC/ST beneficiaries in his areas. After this, they will help the survey team, so that the survey can be completed properly and on time.

BDO informed that so far a total of 1539 beneficiaries have been surveyed for the PM Rural Housing Scheme in various panchayats of the block. Among them, 154 in Gaighat Panchayat, 121 in Harpur Kotwan, 108 in Lhezi, 174 in Mandrapali, 119 in Pakdi, 165 in Palapura, 127 in Piyur, 73 in Rajatpura, 73 in Sahuli, 115 in Sahuli, 117 in Sheikhpura, 150 in Telkathu and Usari Khurd Panchayat There are 116 beneficiaries.
Housing supervisors, all housing assistants, PAAS and Vikas Mitra were present in the meeting. Everyone pledged to make this campaign a success.
