
Central government employees have received the gift of Dussehra and Diwali. The Finance Ministry has announced non-productiveness linked bonus (adhoc bonus) for central employees for 2024-25. Under this, all eligible employees will get an amount equal to 30 days salary as bonus. An official document has been released by the Department of Expenditure in this regard.
It states that all the central employees under Group C will be eligible for this. Also, all the non -gazetted employees of the Central Government who do not fall under any productivity linked bonus scheme will get this bonus.
These employees will also be eligible
Adhoc bonus will also benefit the central paramilitary forces and all eligible personnel of the armed forces. The order will also be considered applicable to the employees of the Union Territories of governments who follow the pattern of the central government’s emoluments and are not covered under any other bonus or X Grassia Scheme. The benefit of such bonuses will be available only to the central government employees who were in the service till 31 March 2025 and who served continuously for at least 6 months during the year 2024-25.
How much will the maximum bonus be
According to the order issued on 29 September, the maximum limit will be a monthly salary of Rs 7000 for calculation of ad-hoc bonus payment. The amount of the adhoc bonus, the employee’s average salary/calculation of the employee, will be withdrawn on the basis of whatever it is. If a worker is getting 7000 rupees monthly, then his 30 -day bonus will be about 6907.89 rupees. Averages salary, which was obtained in a year to calculate a day’s ad hawk bonus, will be given a range of 30.4 (average number of days a month). Subsequently, it will be multiplied by the number of bonuses given.
