A recent example of the level at which the courage of smugglers has increased in the country has come to light from Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh. A shocking video has emerged from Kakinada district. Here at Krishnavaram toll gate of Kirlampudi mandal, ganja smugglers have run over policemen to escape. Two policemen have been seriously injured in this horrific incident. The video of this act of smugglers has also surfaced.
What is the whole matter?
Actually, the police had received information about ganja smuggling for New Year celebrations. According to the information, checking was being done by the police in the toll plaza. At midnight on 31 December, police stopped a car at the Krishnavaram toll plaza on suspicionless grounds. The car driver slowed down the car but suddenly he started the car. As a result the car crushed two policemen. CCTV footage of this incident has surfaced.
Two constables seriously injured
The police tried to stop the car at the toll plaza. However, the driver of the car managed to run over the policemen and escape with the vehicle. According to the information given by the police, constable Lovaraju and another constable standing in front of the vehicle have been seriously injured. The injured constables were taken to the hospital by their fellow policemen.
The accused fled leaving the car
The police also tried to track the absconding car. However, on tracking the car, it was found that the accused, who fled from the toll plaza, left their car on Canal Road near Rajanagaram and fled from there. Police have registered a case regarding this incident and have started searching for the accused.
