These shares climb up at the speed of rocket
TVS Motor. Current price: ₹ 2334.95 (+4.85%)
As soon as the brilliant results of the December quarter came, TVS Motor became a rocket and it rose 6.65 per cent to ₹ 2375.00 in intra-day. In the December quarter, TVS Motor’s revenue rose 10 per cent to ₹ 9097 crore and operating EBITDA to ₹ 1081 crore. Talking about margin, it increased from 11.2 percent to a record 11.9 percent.
Tata Steel. Current price: ₹ 128.70 (+1.82%)
Despite the weak results of the December quarter, Tata Steel shares jumped 3.24 per cent to ₹ 130.50 today. Tata Steel’s profit fell 43.4% to ₹ 295.5 crore, revenue 3% to ₹ 53,648.3 crore, EBITDA fell 5.7% to ₹ 5,903.5 crore and margin 0.30% slipped on an annual basis in the December 2024 quarter. During this, the Exceptional Los fell from ₹ 334.13 crore to ₹ 126.2 crore.
The company’s profits have suffered a setback due to a lump sum loss of ₹ 126 crore. The company was estimated to have a loss of ₹ 550 crore but came into profit. Also, the company’s income also fell less than estimated. In such a situation, the brokerage is quite bullish about this and the shares got support. Jefferies and Morgan Stanley have fixed its target price ₹ 160.
Macrotech developers. Current price: ₹ 1123.50 (+1.88%)
Given the sluggish economic environment and the limited possibility of increase in prices, Nomura has reduced the target price of Macrotech developers of Lodha brand but has retained the purchase rating. Due to this, the shares of Macrotech developers jumped 4.28 per cent to ₹ 1150.00 in intra-day. Nomura has reduced its target price from ₹ 1600 to ₹ 1450.
Sammaan Capital. Current price: ₹ 146.60 (+2.34%)
Honor Capital raised Rs 1,300 crore by issuing 8.66 crore equity shares at a price of Rs 150 per share to qualified institutional buyers (QIB), while the stocks jumped 3.80 per cent to ₹ 148.70 today in intra-day. The company has issued qualified institutional buyers shares such as Smallcap World Fund, Society General, Citigroup Global Markets Mauritius, Shine Star Build Cap and Morgan Stanley Asia Singapore.
Emami. Current price: ₹ 555.25 (+3.76%)
On the spectacular result of the December quarter, Mami’s shares jumped 4.99 per cent to ₹ 561.85 today. In the December 2024 quarter, Mami’s profit jumped 7% to ₹ 279 crore, revenue 5.3% to ₹ 1,049.5 crore, EBITDA 7.6% jumped to ₹ 338.7 crore and margin by 0.70% to 32.3%.

Hyundai Motor. Current price: ₹ 1622.75 (-1.27%)
As soon as the results of the December quarter came, Hyundai Motor’s shares fell into the Red Zone and in intra-day it fell 1.72 per cent to ₹ 1615.20. In the December quarter, its net profit fell 19 per cent to ₹ 1161 crore and total income fell ₹ 16,892 crore to ₹ 17,244 crore. During this period, the company’s revenue fell 1.1 per cent to ₹ 16,323 crore.
L&T. Current price: ₹ 3414.35 (-1.32%)
Due to non-complex, the Ministry of Defense rejected L&T bid to make six submarines, while its shares fell 1.60 per cent to ₹ 3404.70 in intra-day today. The company has suffered a shock of ₹ 70 thousand crores due to the rejected bid. L&T bid in Spain’s government shipbuilding company Navantia.
ITC. Current price: ₹ 435.25 (-1.08%)
A day before the entry of shares of ITC hotels of ITC hotel company ITC Hotels, ITC shares showed pressure on selling and it fell 1.28 per cent to ₹ 434.35 in intra-day. Federal Bank. Current price: ₹ 184.10 (-3.61%)
The next day of the December quarter results, Federal Bank shares slipped today and fell 6.73 per cent to ₹ 178.15 in Intra-Day. Federal Bank’s profit fell 5.1% to ₹ 955.4 crore in the December quarter, but Net Interest Income jumped 14.5% to ₹ 2,431.3 crore during this period. Provisions and Contestions jumped from ₹ 91.22 crore to ₹ 292.33 crore. However, the gross NPA fell from 2.09% to 1.95% and NPA from 0.57% to 0.49% on a quarterly basis.
Coal India. Current price: ₹ 370.95 (-1.19%)
Coal India shares slipped 2.09 per cent to ₹ 367.55 on the weak result of the December quarter. Coal India’s profit fell 17.5% to ₹ 8,491.2 crore, Revenue 1% slipped to ₹ 35,779.8 crore, EBITDA 5% to ₹ 12,317.2 crore and margin 1.50% slipped to 34.4% in the December 2024 quarter.
