These shares rose with rocket speed
South Indian Bank. Current Price: ₹27.01 (+1.31%)
Today, a day before the results, South Indian Bank shares became a rocket and jumped 1.58 per cent to Rs 27.08 intra-day.
United Breweries. Current Price: ₹2062.50 (+5.69%)
Its shares jumped 6.17 per cent to Rs 2072.00 intra-day after United Breweries resumed supplying beer to Telangana Beverages Corp. The company says that talks with Langana Beverages Corp are progressing in a positive direction and assurance has been received to resolve the pricing issue and clear the dues within the time limit. The company had stopped the supply of beer from January 8.
Indian Overseas Bank. Current Price: ₹52.61 (+3.91%)
Shares of Indian Overseas Bank jumped 5.98 per cent intra-day to Rs 53.66 on strong December quarter results. Its market cap also crossed Rs 1 lakh crore. In the December quarter, the bank’s consolidated net profit jumped 21 per cent year-on-year to Rs 875.27 crore.
Vaaree Renewable. Current Price: ₹1066.20 (+2.09%)
Shares jumped 7.05 per cent intra-day to Rs 1118.00 after Waari Renewable received letter of intent from a leading wind energy company. This Letter of Intent pertains to the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) of a 105 MWp (DC) ground-mount solar power project on a turnkey basis. Work on this is to be completed in the next financial year 2026.
Kalyan Jewellers. Current Price: ₹531.15 (+5.88%)
Kalyan Jewelers shares jumped 9.43 per cent to Rs 548.95 intra-day after falling more than 36 per cent in 11 trading days on Motilal Oswal AMC cleanup. Motilal Oswal has termed as baseless the rumors claiming that its money managers were bribed to invest in Kalyan Jewelers and the AMC had taken action and even fired some managers.

Zomato. Current Price: ₹240.95 (-3.14%)
As soon as the December quarter results came, Zomato shares showed strong selling pressure and fell by 8.02 percent to Rs 228.80. Before the results came out, its shares recovered from the initial fall and came into the green zone and remained in the green zone throughout the day and reached a price of Rs 254.45. Its consolidated net profit fell 57 per cent year-on-year to Rs 59 crore in the December quarter. However, consolidated operational revenue increased by 64 percent to ₹5405 crore.
Adani Ports. Current Price: ₹1149.05 (-1.23%)
When Jefferies reduced the target price of Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone, shares also fell by 1.47 percent intra-day to Rs 1146.35. Jefferies has reduced the target price of Adani Ports by 22 percent from Rs 1855 to Rs 1440.
Rallis India. Current Price: ₹270.40 (-6.68%)
Shares of Rallis India fell 8.13 per cent intra-day to Rs 266.20 on weak December quarter results. Rallis India’s profit fell 54.2% year-on-year to ₹11 crore and revenue fell 12.7% to ₹522 crore in the December quarter.
TCS. Current Price: ₹4076.95 (-1.18%)
After the record date of dividend of Tata Consultancy Services, the country’s largest IT company, passed last week, its shares showed selling pressure today and in intra-day they fell by 1.39 percent to Rs 4068.35. The company had announced an interim dividend of Rs 10 and a special dividend of Rs 66 along with the December quarter results, the record date of which was fixed on January 17.
Adani Green Energy. Current Price: ₹1066.55 (-1.07%)
Jefferies reduced the target price of Adani Green Energy by 35 percent from Rs 2 thousand to Rs 1300, while the shares also slipped 2.14 percent to Rs 1055.00 in intra-day today.
