Not only Ganguly, BGT proved to be the last series for Anil Kumble. When Team India visited Australia in 2011-12, the series proved to be the last Test series for VVS Laxman and Rahul Dravid. Both of them faded in that series and after returning, both veterans announced retirement.
Sehwag and Dhoni also left
The Border-Gavaskar Trophy played in India in 2012-13 proved to be the last stop of Virender Sehwag’s career.
