First fort, then a symbol of revolution became a bustle famous for jail
Bustil Day is seen as a symbol of the French Revolution. In fact, at the end of the 18th century, there was a major economic crisis under the rule of Louis XVI, the last king of France. On May 5, 1789, the state general of the country called a meeting, but it was not included to the general public of third state. The citizens of the country were angry with this decision of the government. The people of France revolted against the king.
Bastille was first used as a fort and then gel. In this, prisoners were kept in it, who have treated, or raised their voice against the ruler of the country. These prisoners did not have the right to appeal anywhere against their sentence. During the French Revolution i.e. French Revolution, this prison became a symbol of rigorous governance.
On July 14, 1789, during the revolution, a large number of people of France gathered outside the Bastil Jail. People attacked the jail and rescued seven prisoners present here. This is said to be a very important event of the French revolution. It is seen as the end of the monarchy rule.
