Bangladesh Police on Sunday evening former Chief Election Commissioner K.M. Nurul Huda was arrested. A case was filed against him by the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) on charges of rigging in the election. Apart from Nurul, many other people are also named in it.
Before Nurul’s arrest, many people surrounded him in Dhaka. The mob beat him up wearing a garland of shoes.
