D Gukesh, who won the World Championship title in December 2024, defeated Ding Liran of China, he has achieved the best ranking of his career. At the same time, in the rankings of Pragyanand, the top-10 players have again entered.
Gukesh returns to top-10 with 10 rating points
D Gukesh has occupied the third place with a total of 2787 ratings in the latest rankings released by FIDE. Gukesh lost to Tata Steel Masters’ Tybreak against Pragyanand in recent Vijk Aan Gi. Hikaru, who ranked second in the second number in D Gukesh rankings, is 15 points behind Nakamura with a total of 2802 ratings. At the same time, Norway’s Magnus Carlson dominates the first number in the FIDE rankings, who is currently in the top position with a 2833 rating. Apart from Gukesh, Arjun Arigasi, the first country’s top chase player, has now reached number five with a 2777 rating in the latest rankings.
After July, now Pragyanand returns in the top-10
R Pragyanand, who was out of the top-10 list in the year 2024 July, has managed to return to it again after a long time. In Prague Masters, Pragyanand has captured the 8th position directly on the basis of a total of 2758 points, with 17 ratings. At the same time, if we talk about the ranking of women, Koneru Hampi of India is at number six with 2528 ratings.
