A farmer committed suicide by hanging himself in a house in Matta village of Faridkot. The farmer sent his son to Canada. But he was cheated on admission to college. Hurting this, the farmer took this step. The police is investigating the case.

According to the information, the deceased was identified as Surjit Singh (54). The farmer sent his son to Canada after spending about 1.5 million through a travel agent called Davinder Singh of Faridkot. But he could not set up there. He was cheated by getting him admitted to another college, due to which he took this step.
Son was sent with a loan
According to family sources, Surjit Singh is an ordinary farmer and sent the son abroad with a loan. Before suicide, the farmer has also left a suicide note. On whose basis and family statement, the police station Jaito Police has started legal action.

Police dragged off
The police party led by ASI Jaswant Singh and Head Constable Buta Singh reached the spot and with the help of the people, brought the person down from the noose. Also informed the climb Kala Welfare Service Society.
The farmer was rushed to the Civil Hospital in Kotkapura, where doctors declared him dead. After legal action, he will be post -mortem from Guru Gobind Singh Medical College Hospital of Faridkot.
The deceased mentioned cheating in suicide note
DSP Jaito Manoj Kumar Sharma said that the police has received a suicide note of the deceased Surjit Singh. In which he has mentioned on a travel agent to cheat the name of sending his son abroad. Based on this, further action will be taken by the police by nominating the travel agent and the accused will be arrested soon.
