People taking oath on getting Indian citizenship in Faridabad
District Magistrate Vikram Singh granted Indian citizenship to five people from Afghanistan and one person from Pakistan who had applied for Indian citizenship in Faridabad, Haryana. He administered the oath of allegiance to the Indian Constitution to all the citizens and gave them the citizenship of India.

District Magistrate Vikram Singh administered the oath of Indian citizenship to Ruvil Devi, Neelam, Sadhna Devi, Rajish Kumar, Joginder Singh from Afghanistan and Kamala Devi from Pakistan in his office. Everyone took oath in Hindi to abide by the Indian Constitution. DC congratulated everyone on getting citizenship. He said that being a citizen of India is a matter of immense pride and honor. India is the largest democratic nation in the world.
