BCCI secretary gave a big update regarding Asia Cup 2025
Talking to the media, Debjit Saikia said that since this morning, there have been some reports in his team information that the BCCI has decided not to participate in the Asia Cup and Women Emerging Asia Cup, both of them are ACC tournaments. There is no truth in such reports because till now the BCCI has neither discussed nor taken any step about the upcoming tournaments of ACC, it is far away to write something to ACC. Saikia has made it clear from its statement that the board has not yet taken any decision regarding the Asia Cup.
BCCI is focused on IPL and England series
The BCCI Secretary further said that there has been no discussion at any level about the Asia Cup or any other ACC event, so any news or report on it is completely imaginary. It can be said that the BCCI will share those reports with everyone at the appropriate time after having any discussion about any ACC tournament or reaching any important decision. Meanwhile, the BCCI official further said that at this time his entire focus is on the current IPL and the England series to be held. In June, both Mains and Women’s teams of India will visit England. He has not held any meeting or discussion about the Asia Cup.
