The big news of this time is coming out from Tamil Nadu. There has been an explosion in a firecracker manufacturing factory here in Virudhunagar district. Due to this explosion, 6 laborers working there have died. The explosion is suspected to have occurred during the process of mixing chemicals, causing damage to at least one room. Six laborers working in this room have died. At present, relief and rescue work is being done on the spot.
Explosion in Telangana factory
Shortly before this, in another incident, an explosion took place in a factory in Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri district of Telangana. One person was killed and another injured in a blast that took place in Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri district on Saturday. Police has given information about the incident. Police said that the injured person is undergoing treatment in the hospital and his condition is stable. According to preliminary information, the explosion occurred in a factory where explosive materials are made. At present the incident is being investigated. Besides, relief work is also being done.
LPG tanker overturned in Coimbatore
Let us tell you that in Tamil Nadu itself, an LPG tanker overturned in an accident on Friday. This accident happened in Coimbatore. Regarding this, Coimbatok District Collector Kranti Kumar Pati said that an LPG tanker overturned on the Avinashi Road flyover in the early hours of Friday, causing minor gas leakage. The tanker overturned after getting separated from the truck when the driver was roaming at the intersection of the flyover. He said that no one was injured in this accident. However, due to the accident, traffic in the central part of the city came to a temporary halt. Schools located within a radius of 500 meters to one km from the incident site were closed for the day as a precaution.
