In 15 days of assuming the post of President of America, Donald Trump has created problems for many countries of the world with his decisions. These countries have intensified mobilization after Trump’s threat to European countries.
The world’s richest country Luxembourg Foreign Minister Xavier Betail has given clear advice to Europe to deal with Trump. He said-

‘If you are weak, then that (Trump) will eat you and if you do not talk, it will end you.’
Denmark’s PM Mete Frederickson said that if the US imposes tough tariffs on Europe, we have to give strong reactions. At the same time, Poland’s PM Donald Tusk said that we have to do everything to avoid it.
Actually, Trump’s target is 27 countries of the European Union (EU). Trump said on Sunday, the tariffs will definitely apply to the European union and it is going to be early.

Trump had accused the European Union of misbehaving with the US for years.

Some things such as American cars have 10% tariff in Europe, while the US imposes only 2.5% tariff on Europe’s cars. EU’s tariff on food and beverages is 3.5% higher than the American tariff. Trump has the most objection to this issue.

Speaking at the EU conference of European Union, Von Der Leyen said on Trump’s threats that we will protect our interests, whenever and whatever will be needed.
In 2019 too, Trump put tariffs on several European brands.
In 2019, the US applied 25% tariffs on luxury leather handbags and luggage of brands such as Louis Wuiton and Gucci, along with France’s wine and Italian items. Europe’s luxury industry is also worried due to Trump’s threats.
According to economists at the Prognos Institute, Switzerland, 12 million jobs in Germany depend on the exports to the US. If President Trump implemented tariffs against Europe, 3 lakh of them may be in danger.
