According to the statement released by ECB, England’s medical team will re -assess their injury in the next two weeks and then it will be decided how long they will be able to return to the field. Luke Wood has been included in the England team for the three -match ODI series in place of Archer.

He suffered injuries while fielding during the match against Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens on 4 May. At that time it was not known how serious his injury is.
