Earthquake tremors were felt in Myanmar at 12:28 pm on Friday-Saturday night. The magnitude of the earthquake was recorded at 4.0 on the Richter scale. The National Center for Sisamology (NCS) reported that the earthquake came down about 10 kilometers below the ground. No casualties have been reported so far.
Earlier, Myanmar had an earthquake of 7.7 and 6.4 magnitude in March. More than 3500 people were killed in it. This was followed by an earthquake again in Myanmar on 19 May. Its intensity was then recorded 3.9 intensity. The epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 40 km.
