According to the news of Financial Express, on Monday, an official said that due to dense fog, about 60 flights were delayed at Kolkata’s Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport. Low visibility procedures were implemented from 7 am, causing severe disruption to air traffic.
According to the news, data from FlightRadar24 shows that 3 flights were canceled at Kolkata Airport due to dense fog and low visibility. Additionally, as per data available at 11:20 am, 71 departure and 41 arrival flights were also delayed at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport on January 6.

Tata Group-led Air India has also alerted passengers, saying flight operations in Kolkata are being affected due to poor visibility due to dense fog. SpiceJet also appealed, saying that due to inclement weather at Kolkata (CCU), all departures/arrivals and their resulting flights may be affected. Passengers are requested to keep track of their flight status.
