Trump described the female bishop’s speech as boring and inspiring.
President Donald Trump took part in a prayer at the National Cathedral Church in the capital Washington on Tuesday. According to Reuters, during this time, Episopal Bishop Right Reve Marien Edgar Bude appealed to Trump to have pity on gay community and illegal migrants. After this, the female bishop said in an interview given to Time magazine-
I am not going to apologize. I do not hate President Trump. I am not even leftist. I am not going to apologize for others to ask for mercy. Some people have said that they wish for my death, it is sad.
In this prayer meeting, more than a dozen religious leaders also expressed their views, including Hindu, Buddhist, Jew and Muslim religious leaders. The Washington National Cathedral has held 10 prayers for the presidents of both major parties since 1933.

Bishop said-
They are gay, lesbian and transgender children from Democratic, Republican and other families, some of which fear their lives.
The prayer held on Tuesday included Trump, his wife Melania, Vice President JD Vance and his wife Usha Vance.

Marian Edgar Bude is the Spiritual Leader of 86 Episcopal County and 10 Episcopal Schools at the Four Maryland Counties. He is also the chairman of the Protestant Episopal Cathedral Foundation, who is an organization overseeing the Washington National Cathedral and Cathedral Schools.
He has done Bachelors in History from Rochester University, New York. Along with this, Masters in Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degree have also been obtained from Virginia Theological Seminary.
