
The Maharashtra government has declared a special gift of Rs 2000 for this Diwali Anganwadi workers and assistants. Women and Child Development Minister Aditi Tatkare said that an amount of Rs 40.61 crore has been sanctioned for this scheme and this amount will soon be deposited in the accounts of all Anganwadi employees working under the Integrated Child Development Service (ICDS) scheme. This announcement has been made by the state government on the occasion of the festival to appreciate their loyalty and hard work, so that their celebration can become even more happy.
Aditi Tatkare said that Anganwadi workers and assistants play an important role in women and children care, nutrition and their overall development. Therefore, this Bhaubij gift is being given to honor his service and increase his happiness in the festive season. The minister said that every Anganwadi employees and assistants of the state are a true force of society, so the government is trying to double the happiness of their festival.
Maharashtra has about 1,10,429 Anganwadi workers and assistants working in Maharashtra as of 30 June 2023. Due to this financial assistance, Diwali of their families will also become memorable. This decision will also boost the morale of Anganwadi workers and they will be motivated to do their work with more loyalty.
