Dividend Stock: Cement company is distributing an interim dividend of ₹ 50, February is a record date – Dividend Stock Shree Cement Giving Interim Dividend of Rs 50 per Share February 5 set as record date

Dividend share: Mr. Cement is going to give its shareholders an interim dividend of Rs 50 per share for FY 2024-25. The record date for this is on February 5 in the new starting week. By this date, shareholders whose names will be in the records of the Register of Members of the Company or Depositors as the beneficiaries owners of shares will be entitled to dividend. Dividend will be paid from 17 February 2025.

The price of Shri Cement’s stock closed at Rs 27345.15 on BSE on 1 February. The company’s market cap is Rs 98,600 crore. The face value of the stock is Rs 10. The stock saw a 52 -week high level at Rs 29,628.10 on 2 February 2024 and 52 -week low of Rs 23,500.15 on 12 November 2024.

Shree Cement Share climbed 6 percent in a week

The stock has strengthened 6 percent in a week. By the end of December 2024, the promoters had 62.55 percent stake in the company. Mr. Cement distributed a final dividend of Rs 55 per share for FY 2024. It was announced on 4 May 2024 and the stock traded an X-Dividend on 23 July 2024. Apart from this, interim dividends of 45, 55 and 50 rupees were also given during the financial year.

Profit decreased by 72 percent in December quarter

In the October-December 2024 quarter, Shree Cement’s net consolidated profit declined by 72 percent to Rs 193.72 crore on an annual basis. A year ago this profit was Rs 701.85 crore. Consolidated revenue from the operations declined by about 12 percent to Rs 4572.68 crore as compared to a year ago. It was Rs 5193.47 crore in the December 2023 quarter.
