What is DHL Courier QR Code Scam?
In case of non-delivery by DHL, customers receive a notice or call. The genuine DHL notice contains a QR code and a link to the official website. But now fraudsters are issuing fake notices, which take people to a fake website. This fake website asks for money from customers in the name of delivery schedule. Note that DHL never charges money to reschedule delivery.
How to identify fake notice?
Check the website: Be immediately alerted if scanning the QR code takes you to some other website instead of the official DHL website.
Payment request: DHL never charges a fee to reschedule delivery. If you are being asked for money, it is a fraud.
