There is a huge crowd of customers at jewelery showrooms, automobile, electronic, mobile and utensils shops in the markets of Bihar.
According to the report of Dainik Bhaskar, a total of about 4.5 lakh silver coins have been purchased in Bihar till evening. Around 2200 new cars have been sold so far in Patna. This time the demand for brooms was very high on Dhanteras. There has been a broom business worth about Rs 12 crore in Bihar.
So much gold and silver sold in the state
According to the Jewelers Association, till late evening, about four and a half lakh silver coins have been sold across the state, while more than six thousand gold coins have been purchased in Patna alone. Tremendous shopping has been seen in Patna on Dhanteras. Around 2200 new cars have been sold in the city so far, out of which more than 100 vehicles were delivered today itself, while the rest will be delivered soon.
Sales of electronic goods also took place
This time on Dhanteras, people have also shown special interest in purchasing electronic goods. There has been a huge demand for big size TVs in the market, especially 55, 65 and 75 inch models. So far, about four thousand TVs have been sold, whereas the sales of small size TVs have been relatively less. At the same time, a business of about Rs 1000 crore has been done from the sale of electronic goods.
This time on the occasion of Dhanteras, the highest sale of brooms has attracted everyone’s attention. It is estimated that brooms were purchased from about 2 crore houses in Bihar, resulting in a business of about Rs 12 crore.
