Had collided with. As per this order, the incident was closed with a counseling session and no corrective training was given to the pilot concerned. The regulator found that the replies given by the airline and the pilot to the show cause notice issued in November 2024 were not satisfactory.

Instructions for going through the simulator session

Sources said the DGCA requires the pilot to undergo a minimum remedial training simulator session of two hours to cover stabilization parameters and short finals such as visual cues on flares and threats of landing, missed approach and go-around abort etc. is directed. There was no immediate comment from Akasa Air. Last month, the DGCA had ordered suspension of the director of operations and director of training at Akasa Air for six months for alleged lapses in the training of pilots.
