Let us tell you that curfew has been imposed in many areas in Wayanad, Kerala. Curfew has been imposed in Priyanka Gandhi’s parliamentary constituency Wayanad for 48 hours from 6 am today. It is being told that a tiger fatally attacked a woman here. Since then, continuous efforts are being made to catch him. The administration has imposed curfew in many areas as a precautionary measure.

In fact, authorities in Wayanad, Kerala imposed curfew in some areas of Mananthavady Municipality on Sunday after a fatal attack by a tiger on a 47-year-old woman. After the incident of attack on the woman, the tiger has been declared a man-eater. Now a plan is being made to kill the tiger. Forest Minister AK Saseendran held a high-level meeting at the District Magistrate’s office. After this the tiger was declared a man-eater. According to an official release, curfew will be imposed in some areas for 48 hours from 6 am on January 27.

Woman dies due to tiger attack

Let us tell you that when Radha, a Scheduled Caste woman, was plucking coffee on Friday morning in ‘Priyadarshini Estate’ of Manathwadi area, a tiger attacked her. Woman died due to tiger attack. After the cremation of the woman, the local people gathered outside the base camp of the forest officials and started demanding the killing of the tiger. During this, local people demonstrated and also raised slogans.

However, forest officials clarified that Chief Wildlife Warden Pramod G Krishnan had on Friday ordered that maximum efforts be made to cage or sedate the tiger as per the guidelines and standard operating procedure (SOP) of the National Tiger Conservation Authority.
