Is not batting even in List A matches
In the last seven innings, Ruturaj Gaikwad has not been able to score even a half-century, let alone a century. He scored his last century against Services in a List A match in December 2024. After this his bat remained silent continuously. Although there is still time for IPL, but there are not many days left. An out-of-form batsman going directly to IPL and that too as captain can prove fatal for the team.
It may be difficult for CSK in IPL
Anyway, IPL has not been anything special for CSK for some time now. After MS Dhoni, Ruturaj Gaikwad has been made the new captain of the team, but till now he has not been able to prove himself.
