BSNL is going to launch its 4G service commercially this year. Also, the company is preparing for 5G service. Taking another step towards this, the government telecom company has completed the work of setting up more than 65 thousand 4G mobile towers in the country. BSNL has given this information from its official X handle. The company aims to set up 1 lakh 4G mobile towers, so that users can get the benefit of better network connectivity. Also, the company is phase out of its 3G service, so that 4G/5G towers can be installed.

Will get better connectivity

BSNL has confirmed its official X handle that more than 65,000 4G mobile towers have now gone live in the entire country. In its post, the telecom company said that users will now get better connectivity and network coverage. The government telecom company will launch 4G service commercially this year across the country. Apart from this, the company is also testing 5G network. BSNL has partnered with TATA for 5G network.

BSNL has started phase out of 3G network from all over India. The government telecom company is upgrading its 3G mobile tower to 4G as well as installing new mobile towers. Recently, the company has phase out 3G service in Bihar Telecom Service. Apart from this, many more telecom circles are closing 3G service. Users will now get 4G connectivity instead of 3G. Users who have not upgraded their SIM card to 4G can take a new SIM for free at the nearest telecom exchange or customer service center.

Due to better network connectivity, users of private telecom companies will shift to BSNL, which will benefit millions of mobile users of the country. Government telecom company’s recharge plans are much cheaper than Jio, Airtel and VI, due to which the users will not cost much. Last year, BSNL’s MD confirmed that the company would not increase its mobile tariff yet. In such a situation, users will also start getting better connectivity at a low price.
