Now the director of Chhava, Laxman Utekar, has confirmed that Vicky Kaushal’s Lejim dance sequence has been removed from the film.

Many ministers in Maharashtra claimed that Lezim dance sequence in Chhava trailer does not match the personality of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Film should be shown to experts before release

Not only this, Maharashtra Minister Uday Samant demanded the expert review of the film and said- “It is a matter of great pleasure that a Hindi film has been made based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the protector of religion and Swaraj. Such efforts are necessary to explain history, however, many people have expressed their opinion about some objectionable scenes in the film. Nothing will be tolerated to hurt Maharaj’s honor. “

The director takes a big step

Chhava director Laxman Utekar said in a statement that the Lezim dance sequence will not be included in Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandana starrer Chhava. He further said that there is nothing more than the legacy of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and it is only a small dance sequence. He said- ‘After meeting Raj Thackeray, I have paid attention to his advice and recommendations. And I can say honestly that I find them very beneficial. After meeting him, I have decided to remove the scene where we have shown Sambhaji Maharaj dancing to Lezim. ‘
