1. Now a passenger can have only one hand baggage. This rule is for both domestic and international flights. If you have more than one bag, you will need to have the additional bag checked.
2. The weight limit of the bag has also been fixed according to your travel class.
- Economy and Premium Economy passengers can carry one handbag weighing up to a maximum of 7 kg.
- First Class and Business Class passengers can carry one handbag weighing up to 10 kg.
3. Maximum size limit for hand bags has also been issued.
- Height: 55 cm (21.6 inches)
- Length: 40 cm (15.7 inches)
- Width: 20 cm (7.8 inches)

4. If you booked your flight before May 2, 2024, you are eligible for some discounts. This discount is as follows:
- Economy class passengers can carry hand bags up to 8 kg.
- Premium Economy passengers can carry hand bags up to 10 kg.
- First class and business class passengers can carry hand bags up to 12 kg.
5. These new rules have been brought to reduce the crowd of passengers at security checkpoints. Due to the new rules, the security staff will have to check only a few bags. This will reduce the time taken for security check.
