CM Pratiigya Yojana: Assembly elections are going to be held in Bihar this year. Its opinions can be announced at any time. Before that, the Nitish Kumar government of the state is making announcements for new schemes one after the other. The Nitish government took several important decisions in the cabinet meeting held on Tuesday. They will directly affect the youth, artists and folk traditions of the state.
Artists will get pension
The government has decided to give ₹ 3000 pension to the artists of the state under the ‘Chief Minister Artist Pension Scheme’. Also, ‘Guru Shishya Tradition Plan’ has been launched to save traditional folk arts. Its purpose is to preserve the extinct art and skills.
Internship scheme for youth
The state government has launched the ‘Mukhyamantri Pratoy Yojana’ to give the youth skill based training and experience.
Under the Mukhyamantri Pratoun Yojana, the Inter (12th), ITI or Graduation pass youth will get a stipend ranging from ₹ 4,000 to ₹ 6,000 every month. If a youth goes out of his district or state and does an internship, the government will also give them additional allowance to live and eat.
Under this scheme, eligible candidates will get an allowance from ₹ 4000 to ₹ 6000 every month during the internship.
- 12th pass youth for ₹ 4000 month
- Diploma or ITI candidates ₹ 5000 month
- Graduate or post graduate to ₹ 6000 month
A committee has been formed under the chairmanship of the Development Commissioner for the Mukhyamantri Pratiya Yojana. It will also have representatives of the industry sector
Plan to benefit 1 lakh youth
In the first year 2025-26, ₹ 40.69 crore will be spent on this scheme. At the same time, a provision of Rs ₹ 129 crore has been made every year from the next five years (2026-27 to 2030-31).
The government aims to connect 5000 youth with the scheme in the first year, while in the next five years there is a plan to give benefit of 1 lakh youth. It will be mandatory for the youth to take training under the skill development program first for the application.
