China, Pakistan and Bangladesh have held a meeting of Foreign Ministry in Kunming city of China this week. This is the first meeting between the three countries. The Pakistani Foreign Ministry has shared information about the meeting. However, it has not been revealed on which day the meeting was held now. The meeting was attended by Chinese Deputy Foreign Minister Sun Vedong, Bangladesh acting Foreign Secretary Ruhul Alam Siddiqui and Additional Foreign Secretary of Pakistan Imran Ahmed Siddiqui. Pakistan’s Foreign Secretary Aamna Baloch joined it through video link. Baloch appreciated China’s initiative and said that this meeting is an important step towards increasing cooperation for people-focused development between the three countries. The meeting has been held at a time when diplomatic tension in the area has increased after the operation between India and Pakistan in May. In such a situation, it is being linked to the united of the three countries against India.
