Today, BSE Sensex closed at 76,330.01 points with a fall of 1048.90 points, while on the other hand, NSE Nifty also closed at 23,085.95 points with a fall of 345.55 points. Today, shares of 26 out of 30 Sensex companies closed in the red with a decline, while shares of only 4 companies closed in the green with a rise. Similarly, shares of 46 out of 50 companies of Nifty 50 closed in the red with losses and shares of only 4 companies closed in the green with gains.

Let us tell you that last week also the market had closed with a decline on Friday. On Friday, BSE Sensex closed 241.30 points down at 77,378.91 points and NSE’s Nifty 50 index closed 95.00 points down at 23,431.50 points. But compared to Friday, today’s fall was quite severe.

These 4 stocks closed in the green

Shares of Axis Bank, TCS, Hindustan Unilever and IndusInd Bank among the Sensex companies closed in the green. Shares of Axis Bank closed the highest today with a gain of 0.78 percent, TCS with a gain of 0.62 percent, Hindustan Unilever with a gain of 0.45 percent and IndusInd Bank with a gain of 0.41 percent.

Zomato shares fell the most

Zomato shares are the highest today by 6.52 percent, Power Grid 4.09 percent, Adani Ports 4.08 percent, Tata Steel 3.49 percent, NTPC 3.23 percent, Tata Motors 3.06 percent, Mahindra & Mahindra 2.99 percent, Asian Paints 2.89 percent, Tech Mahindra 2.88 percent, UltraTech Cement. 2.36 percent, Sun Pharma 2.24 percent, Larsen & Toubro 2.02 percent, State Bank of India 1.82 percent, Bajaj Finance 1.64 percent, HDFC Bank 1.63 percent, ICICI Bank 1.51 percent, Titan closed down 1.50 percent.

Apart from these, shares of Bajaj Finserv, ITC, Maruti Suzuki, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Bharti Airtel, HCL Tech, Nestle India, Infosys and Reliance also closed in the red with losses.
