ICC champions trophy 2025: The clock that cricket fans were eagerly waiting for have arrived. The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 has started today i.e. 19 February. After 29 years, an ICC event is being organized in Pakistan. The last ICC tournament in Pakistan was played in 1996. After so many years, cricket fans are very excited about the ICC tournament being hosted by Pakistan and the whole country is immersed in cricket. However, if Pakistan is a matter of cricket and there is no dispute, it cannot happen.

Tricolor in Karachi

In fact, before the start of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, a movement of the Pakistan Cricket Board created controversy. Out of 8 teams participating in the Champions Trophy at the stadium in Karachi and Lahore, only 7 teams were flagged off. It did not include the tricolor of India. When this news came out, Pakistan cricket was deliberately accused of doing so. PCB also got fierce on social media. However, when the first match of the Champions Trophy began at the National Stadium in Karachi, India’s tricolor was seen waving in the stadium. Many of its pictures are now becoming increasingly viral on social media. Seeing the tricolor waving in Karachi, Indian fans are very happy and are seeing it as a threat of India.

Let me tell you, the Champions Trophy is being played under the 2025 hybrid model. The Indian team refused to go to Pakistan long ago, after which both teams agreed to play on the neutral venue. This is the reason that the Indian team will play all their matches in Dubai. If the Indian team reaches the final, then the title match of the tournament will also be played in Dubai on March 9. India and Pakistan will face face to face in Dubai on 23 February. Cricket fans from all over the world are very excited about this match. However, Pakistani fans are in tension despite purchasing tickets, as Pakistani citizens are finding it very difficult to get UAE visas. Recently, the UAE government had tightened its visa rules for Pakistan, after which Pakistani citizens are facing a lot of trouble in visiting Dubai and Sharjah.
