Cghs: Now the facility of CGHS has become even easier. The government has made it completely online, so that patients will not have to visit the hospital or office for things like treatment approval, permission of medical machines and payment. 1. Now your CGHS ID will be made with PAN card
Every CGHS beneficiary will now be given unique ID related to PAN card. This will end the problem of making two files in the name of the same man and the record of treatment will also be clean.
2. No problem of online payment
Now to deposit the fees or contribution of CGHS, direct payment can be made from www.cghs.mohfw.gov.in website. This site is associated with Bharat Kosh, so now the payment will be automatically verified, no need to sign an employee.
3. Password will have to change
Those who are already CGHS users, they will be required to change the password after logging on the new site. This will keep your account more safe.
4. Medical machines now approved quickly
Now patients will not have to wait long for essential machines like oxygen concentrator, CPAP or Bipap. Earlier all these approval was available offline and it used to take weeks, but now everything will be online and permission will also be available soon.
5. Every update will be available on SMS and email
You applied or got some approval or payment. Every update will now be received through SMS and email. There will be no need to go to office again and again.
6. New mobile app also launched
The government has also launched a mobile app named MyCGHS 2.0. You can download it from Google Play Store. You can do many things like card transfer, dependent adding or changing the card from this app.
7. What else changed?
Now you can check your CGHS application status online yourself. A receipt will be found immediately for every work and helpdesk and guide are also available on the website and app for help.
